I called for a delivery. Yes it was 5:15 on a Friday. Pizza places are busy. I get it. The phone rang 3 or 4 times, and was answered with “Nonna’s please hold” and I heard the phone get put on a counter or something. 1 minute goes by. I’m thinking to myself, wow they’re pretty busy. Good for them! After two minutes of being on hold, I hear another phone ring, and it gets answered with, “Nonna’s...pick up or delivery?” And he proceeded to take the other callers order. Next, at about 2 minutes and 30 seconds on hold, someone picks up the phone I’m holding on and hangs up. Seriously? There is absolutely no excuse for that. Let me tell you something Nonna’s, I was going to put a $50 order in, not to mention the future business of mine you would have had, which is now non existent. You have every opportunity to impress a customer, but you only get one to disappoint them. When people are wanting to spend their hard earned money at a restaurant, SERVICE is the reason they are willing to pay so much for it. Nonna’s totally treated me like a person who’s business they weren’t interested in. Every customer should be treated with the same priority. Hire someone to just answer the phones if you have to, on weekends when it’s busy. Judging by your prices and lack of customer service, you can afford it.

If you didn't enjoy Joey's than you won't like Nonna's Place. Nothing has changed other than the name. It's all the same people. Just like at Joey's the food is sub-par but the manager and servers are worse - beyond rude. The delivery drivers have a tendency to not bring enough change. They must be insane if they think a delivery driver that drives 1/4 of a mile away is going to get a $20 tip. Be careful with the bread that's all I'll say on that. I wouldn't recommend Nonna's. Varriales is better and the people are much nicer.

Great Italian Food in an unlikely place. Had a birthday celebration here and the staff was beyond accommodating. They provided service beyond expectations. The portions are generous and so tasty. If you still have room try the tirasumu.

The food is decent but one of the delivery drivers needs improvement with customer interaction. Last time I ordered food for delivery the driver complained that I gave him only a one dollar tip when in fact he got $3.00 due to the $2.00 delivery charge. The restaurant is no more than a 3 minute drive. What did the driver expect for a 3 minute drive to deliver a $15.00 pizza? Sometimes i give more but to complain to me in front of my home" come on bro a dollar really?" Makes me not want to order let alone tip more.

Ordered pizza and fries Monday for delivery in Whiting NJ. After waiting over 1 hour for delivery we called. Employee hesitated and finally said the order was not there so it must be out for delivery. Food arrived 15 minutes later. Pizza was barely warm and fries were cold and mushy. Will take my business elsewhere. Almost $42. for 2 pies and fries, felt like I got seriously ripped off.
